Enhanced placements are for children who need a higher level of care. This may be due to challenging behaviours, but also in terms of children with significant health needs.

Due to the extra care these children need the placements are categorized as enhanced placements and carers are paid at a higher rate to reflect this extra commitment needed.

We understand how difficult it can be to care for a child or young person whose emotional needs are complex and demanding, hence fully recognize how we must provide the best possible support to our foster carers.

We provide an intensive level of support, supervision and training.

We are currently developing new support packages and network to be able to better support you with these type of placements.
